Actor Michael Wong Man-tak is widely known for his passion for flying and he has decided to further it by contributing to the growth of a better community for the future. Michael will be flying with Heliservices, Hong Kong’s most experienced helicopter operator, to offer Flightseeing trips for air cadets and members of the community.
"Since I was awarded a Pilot's Licence several years ago, I have been dreaming about making my passion a part time profession for contributing to the community. Becoming a professional helicopter pilot would allow me to use my qualification in helping youth cadets in gaining flying experience," Michael said.
"We are extremely happy and proud to have Michael on board with us. I believe he will make a big impact on inspiring Hong Kong’s young generation by enhancing their exposure to aviation, which from personal experience I have found can be quite empowering in encouraging young people to pursue their dreams," said Mr. Chris Buchholz, Executive Director of Helisevices (Hong Kong Aviation Group).
The new programme "Flying with Michael Fitzgerald Wong" is supported by Heliservices (HK) Limited and the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps. Over 700 air cadets will be provided with a valuable flying experience supported by donations.
